The United States Grand Prix has moved around the country over the decades, but COTA (Circuit of the Americas ) gave it a true long-term home when the circuit opened in 2012. It marked a new chapter: a permanent, purpose-built venue created specifically to host Formula 1. In the years since, Austin has become synonymous with the modern U.S. Grand Prix.


Fun fact: The United States Grand Prix was first held in 1908, long before Formula 1 existed.
