Opened in 2004, Bahrain International Circuit put Formula 1 in the Middle East for the first time. Set out in the desert at Sakhir, it’s a modern track built around long straights, big braking zones, and exits that punish you if you’re even a little greedy.
Bahrain is a race where traction and strategy show up fast. The drivers who manage tires, nail the braking points, and get clean runs onto the straights usually end up controlling the day.
Fun Fact: Bahrain International Circuit was built on the site of a former camel farm in the desert south of Manama.
